Programs for Adults

Middletown Public Library Book Discussion Group meets at 6:00pm on the first Thursday of each month September through May. Upcoming titles for discussion are: 
  • Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult, January 3, 2008
  • False Impression by Jeffrey Archer, February 7, 2008
  • A Long Way Goner by Ishmael Beah, March 6, 2008
  • The Third Secret by Steve Berry, April 3, 2008
  • Daddy's Girl by Lisa Scottoline and Not a Penny More, Not a Penny Less by Jeffrey Archer, May 1, 2008 

New participants are welcome at any time. Drop in and share your ideas and observations. 

Middletown Public Library Book Sale. 
Books galore and more to satisfy all ages and interests! 

    Spring Book Sale, April 16 through April 19, 2008:
          Wednesday, 4/16:  4pm to 8pm
          Thursday, 4/17:  10am to 7pm
          Friday, 4/18:  10am to 7pm (Half price on regularly marked items)
          Saturday, 4/19:  10am to 2pm (Dollar-a-Bag Day!  Library will supply bags)

    Fall Book Sale, October 22 through October 25, 2008.

Friends of the Middletown Public Library can always use willing hands and minds. Most meetings are held on the third Monday of the month at 6:00pm. If you would like to help with the book sale or other special projects, see the monthly calendar for the meeting schedule and get in on the planning. Teens are welcome to participate. 

Middletown Public Library Board of Directors meets every month on the first Tuesday, at 6:00pm. These meetings are open to the public.

Programs for Children (ages 2-6):

Color My World 
Ten weeks of storytime for children ages 2-6.  Thursdays at 10:30am, 1:00pm, and 7:00pm from February 14th – April 17th.  Stories, rhymes, and more!  No registration required.

Programs for School-age children:
